Percy Jackson & the Olympians - FULL SERIES (Rick Riordan)

I read this series last week for the first time ever and of course i loved it! Again i am terrible at being one of those people who watch the film first! When the first film came out i loved it! Little did i know it was nothing like the book... So finally i picked up the series and FELL into the book.

The book is about a 12 year old boy called Percy Jackson, he lives with his mother and step farther in New York. Percy has dyslexia and ADHD which affects his school life and on more than one occasion he is thrown out of school and causing trouble! One day on a school trip his life changes and Percy see's life for what it really is. He then goes into safety at Camp Half-Blood and meets other people just like him, at the camp his life goes from 0-10 in two seconds! Next thing Percy knows is that he is the son of a God
and is off fighting evil to save his friends!

Not going to say anything else as i don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't read it! I would defiantly recommend this to any age! One thing i love about this book is that you get to see Percy grow up, at the end of the series he is 16. I love it when a series does that as you feel part of the protagonists life and that your in there circle!

One thing i didn't like about the series in that Percy and Annabeth OBVIOUSLY liked each other from day one (<that is not a spoiler its just common knowledge). I wish that they got into there relationship earlier, it would of been nice to see a bit of young love! But other than that? LOVED IT!

I would rate this 5/5
